When you hit a giant with it, the giant takes an extra 2d6 damage of the weapon's type and must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or fall prone. For the purpose of this weapon, "giant" refers to any creature with the giant type, including ettins and trolls. Made from one, single, cut and polished piece of crystal, this scintillating weapon was created to defend the eladrin city of Astrazalian from the wicked fomorians of the Feywild. All along the heft twist fine lines of writing in archaic sylvan script. The lines of script translate to hymns and poems dedicated to Astrazalian, the City of Starlight. When the axe comes into a creature’s possession, they begin dream of a resplendent city, built on a verdant island in the middle of an opalescent sea.
