History:
From 1340 to 1385 DR, Lord Mattus Althorin ruled a small fiefdom in the Border Kingdoms near the Lake of Steam. Lord Althorin ran his council and maintained peace in his lands with the assistance of the Knights of the Holy Judgement, an order of paladins who emphasize the "lawful" part of their dedication to Tyr.
To dispense Tyr’s most brutal judgements, Lord Althorin commissioned the creation of a magical greatsword, which he dubbed “Tyr’s Justice”. During his rule, several different paladins belonging to the Order of the Knights of Holy Judgement claimed the headman’s sword as their own. When the Spellplague ravaged Toril in the Year of Blue Fire, the Border Kingdoms devolved into a lawless frontier of outlaws and would-be rulers, and the sword was lost for nearly a century. It later resurfaced in the Moonsea region.
Other than the balanced scales of Try’s holy symbol etched into its blade, the sword is intentionally simple in appearance, mirroring Lord Althorin’s predominant belief: “Justice is not pretentious or vain. It is simple and true, and the right of every man, woman, and child, no matter how rich, poor, educated, or ignorant they may be.”

Eagle Whistle rare DDHC-TYP - Tales from the Yawning Portal (The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan): 29. The Tomb of Pelota G Trade Log Show

A use of the whistle also ends if you land. If you are aloft when you stop blowing the whistle, you fall. The whistle has three uses. It regains expended uses daily at dawn.

Claw of the Wyrm Rune rare DDHC-SKT - Storm King's Thunder (Chapter 12): Introduction; Hekaton's Gift G Trade Log Show
Notes:

Requires Attunement
|
This dragon's claw has been covered with a coat of molten silver, upon which has been inscribed the wyrm (dragon) rune. The claw has the following properties.

Wyrmslayer. As an action, you can point the claw at a dragon within 30 feet of you. The dragon must then succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or gain vulnerability to all damage types until the end of your next turn. This property can be used three times. The claw regains all expended uses at the next dawn.

Wyrm Shield. While the claw is displayed on your person, you have resistance to the damage caused by any dragon's breath weapon.

Wyrm Ward. You can transfer the claw's magic to a place by tracing the wyrm rune on the ground with your finger. The point where you trace it becomes the center of a spherical area of magic that has a 100-foot radius and that is fixed to the place. The transfer takes 8 hours of work that requires the claw to be within 5 feet of you. At the end, the claw is destroyed, and the area gains the following property:
While in the 100-foot-radius sphere, any dragon has disadvantage on saving throws and can have a flying speed no higher than 10 feet.

Dawnfire (Sun Blade) rare CCC-STORM-01 - The Barrows of Solina: Grindan’s Gift G Trade Log Show
Notes:

The ancient sword hilt is made of orichalcum. In the pommel is a ruby cut in the shape of a blazing sun, which sheds dim light for 10 feet when within 60 feet of undead.
|
History:
Alisandra Solina was the leader of a paladin order called the Dawnfire Knights, named after Solina’s holy sword. The order was tasked with locating dangerous objects, the magical remnants of Netheril and Narfell. and destroying them if possible or imprisoning them if not. Their temple of Cear Coron Llachar, Bright Crown Citadel, served as a vault for the dark relics collected during their crusades.
Solina and her templars ambushed a giant’s war band south of the Moonsea between the rivers Lis and Duathamper. The battle was fierce, and many knights fell before the invaders were routed and the frost gaint Vornjolnir slain. In the aftermath, Solina found strange items among the raiders’ supplies, objects of unknown origin. The paladins gathered the unsettling relics to destroy them, but such a threat to the keys provoked the Harrowed King. That night the King raised Vornjolnir as a death giant and unleashed an army of the dead on the paladins. Weakened and beset on all sides, Solina unraveled the power of the Dawnfire sword, shattering its blade in a storm of light and engulfing the battlefield in flames. The knights were consumed with the undead host.
Once the sword was an incredibly powerful artifact. Even broken as it is, it still holds such power.

Night Caller uncommon DDHC-TYP - Tales from the Yawning Portal (The Sunless Citadel): 27. Sanctuary F Trade Log Show
Notes:

If a character succeeds on a DC 20 Intelligence (Arcana or History) check, the character recalls lore that says the duergar made several such whistles for various groups in an age past.

If you blow the whistle in darkness or under the night sky, it allows you to cast the animate dead spell. The target can be affected through up to 10 feet of soft earth or similar material, and if it is, it takes 1 minute to claw its way to the surface to serve you. Once the whistle has animated an undead creature, it can't do so again until 7 days have passed.

Once every 24 hours, you can blow the whistle to reassert control over one or two creatures you animated with it.
