Song
Singing or reciting the lyrics to Golden Wings takes one minute. If a good-aligned character casts find familiar after making a successful DC 15 Charisma (Performance) check, they may summon a celestial gold pseudodragon to serve as their familiar. This creature is lawful good and abandons the character if they ever willingly harm a celestial.

AL Guidance: This story award may allow one-time access to a familiar that is normally unavailable. This familiar is not added to your available list except for this one instance; if it is destroyed, dismissed, or leaves, it will not return without other campaign guidance or rulings. To use this story award, you must sing the entire song as part of your casting of find familiar.

This bell has 4 charges. When you use an action to shake it, one creature of your choice can hear the bell’s ring in the tune of festive carols, provided the creature is within 600 feet of the bell and not deafened. No other creature hears sound coming from the bell. The bell regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn.

Boots of the Winterlands
Wondrous Item, uncommon (requires attunement)
These furred boots are snug and feel quite warm. While you wear them, you gain the following benefits:
• You have resistance to cold damage.
• You ignore difficult terrain created by ice or snow.
• You can tolerate temperatures as low as -50 degrees Fahrenheit without any additional protection. If you wear heavy clothes, you can tolerate temperatures as low as -100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Story Award

Respect of the City Watch. The character is allowed one check at Advantage on one check to avoid a penalty when caught committing a crime that doesn’t involve murder, theft, or assault.

Converting 4 TCP to gold (200 gp). Then, spending 150 gp on a level 2 spell (Cloud of Daggers) and another 50 gp to copy it into my spellbook. Finally, spending another 75 gp on a level 1 spell (Find Familiar) and another 25 gp to copy it into my spellbook. Each of these benefits from the reduction in costs to copy Conjuration spells. Lastly, 10 gp goes to actually summoning a familiar.

Faction Favor
You have won the favor of two of the great factions: The Emerald Enclave and the Zhentarim. As the bearer of this award, you may at any time replace your own background feature with the Safe Haven background feature (Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide).
In addition, you may call upon these factions to cast raise dead on your character if your remains are taken to Waterdeep. Doing so removes this story award from your record. You can use this favor even if you don’t have the Faction Agent background.
