If the bag is overloaded, pierced, or torn, it ruptures and is destroyed, and its contents are scattered in the Astral Plane. If the bag is turned inside out, its contents spill forth, unharmed, but the bag must be put right before it can be used again. Characters must seek out each Archfey of Samsara to gain the specific masks they are missing, if they have not collected them from the Luna Carnival. Characters will gain the ability to change the mask’s form with every archfey’s blessing. While you are attuned to the pipes, ordinary rats and giant rats are indifferent toward you and will not attack you unless you threaten or harm them. The pipes have 3 charges. If you play the pipes as an action, you can use a bonus action to expend 1 to 3 charges, calling forth one swarm of rats with each expended charge, provided that enough rats are within half a mile of you to be called in this fashion (as determined by the DM). If there aren't enough rats to form a swarm, the charge is wasted. Called swarms move toward the music by the shortest available route but aren't under your control otherwise. The pipes regain 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. Whenever a swarm of rats that isn't under another creature's control comes within 30 feet of you while you are playing the pipes, you can make a Charisma check contested by the swarm's Wisdom check. If you lose the contest, the swarm behaves as it normally would and can't be swayed by the pipes' music for the next 24 hours. If you win the contest, the swarm is swayed by the pipes' music and becomes friendly to you and your companions for as long as you continue to play the pipes each round as an action. A friendly swarm obeys your commands. If you issue no commands to a friendly swarm, it defends itself but otherwise takes no actions. If a friendly swarm starts its turn and can't hear the pipes' music, your control over that swarm ends, and the swarm behaves as it normally would and can't be swayed by the pipes' music for the next 24 hours. Language. The bearer can speak and understand the Sylvan language while the item is on the bearer’s person. The bearer can also understand the language of rats and mice. This magic item can only be used in the Domain of Delight Samsara and ZODIAC adventures. Story Award: Shadow Rat Gaining the friendship of the Rat King. The shadow of the archfey splits off a small portion of itself which forms the shape of a tiny shadow rat that connects to the character's shadow. Whenever the character reflects a shadow, a shadow of a tiny rat also follows along. The character may command the tiny shadow rat to move up to 60 ft. away from the character. The shadow rat has the statistics of a rat. Hat of Vermin "Piper´s Hat" Wondrous Item, common This hat has 3 charges. While holding the hat, you can take a Magic action to expend 1 charge and summon your choice of a Bat, a Frog, or a Rat. The summoned creature magically appears in the hat and tries to get away from you as quickly as possible. The creature is Indifferent toward you and other creatures, and it isn’t under your control. It behaves as an ordinary creature of its kind and disappears after 1 hour or when it drops to 0 Hit Points. The hat regains all expended charges daily at dawn. “The dark blue wizard’s hat, decorated with silvery moons and stars, has two adorable round black mouse ears. Using the command word ‘Fantasia’ summons a non-combatant shadow of rats.” Guardian. The item whispers and squeaks warnings to its bearer, granting a +2 bonus to initiative if the bearer isn’t incapacitated. Doss Lute of the Bards Wondrous Item, uncommon (requires attunement by a Bard) An Instrument of the Bards is superior to an ordinary instrument in every way. Seven types of these instruments exist, each named after a bard college. The Instruments of the Bards table lists the spells common to all instruments, as well as the spells specific to this one. A creature that attempts to play the instrument without being attuned to it must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or take 2d4 Psychic damage. You can play the instrument to cast one of its spells. Once the instrument has been used to cast a spell, it can’t be used to cast that spell again until the next dawn. The spells use your spellcasting ability and spell save DC. Instruments of the Bards All: Fly, Invisibility, Levitate, Protection from Evil and Good, plus the spells listed for the particular instrument Doss lute: Animal Friendship, Protection from Energy (Fire damage only), Protection from Poison “The pipa is engraved with moons, stars, and musical notes; the rosette is heart-shaped.” Language. This Poison stems from the shadowfell and is used to poison undead creatures if applied correctly. Sadly it didn't came with a manual for how to use it but you found out through sheer morbid curiosity that it has quite the opposite effect on the living and cures them of any poison and disease. Tear of Selune (Gem of Brightness) Wondrous item, uncommon This prism has 50 charges. While you are holding it, you can use an action to speak one of three command words to cause one of the following effects: The first command word causes the gem to shed bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. This effect doesn't expend a charge. It lasts until you use a bonus action to repeat the command word or until you use another function of the gem. The second command word expends 1 charge and causes the gem to fire a brilliant beam of light at one creature you can see within 60 feet of you. The creature must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become blinded for 1 minute. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. The third command word expends 5 charges and causes the gem to flare with blinding light in a 30-foot cone originating from it. Each creature in the cone must make a saving throw as if struck by the beam created with the second command word. When all of the gem's charges are expended, the gem becomes a nonmagical jewel worth 50 gp. Weight: 1 This gem is a selunite artifact which contains the concentrated light of the moonmaiden. It can pierce even the darkest shadows and guides the way to safety. In cold moonlit nights when you hold this gem you feel as if someone is smiling down upon you. Story Award: Ageinst the Natural Order You fought the Shadar Kai in the Last Rest Inn and thus made a move against the Raven Queens intended natural order. Doing the "right" thing might have some unforeseen consequences. One thing is clear, you didn't earn the favor of a deity today. Story Aword: Eternel Love You helped Sarion to calm down Lady Siriel and brought them together. "Amu's fabulous Tales of Toril" (Deck of Illusion (34 Cards)) Wondrous item, uncommon This box contains a set of parchment cards. A full deck has 34 cards. A deck found as treasure is usually missing 1d20 - 1 cards. The magic of the deck functions only if cards are drawn at random (you can use an altered deck of playing cards to simulate the deck). You can use an action to draw a card at random from the deck and throw it to the ground at a point within 30 feet of you. An illusion of one or more creatures forms over the thrown card and remains until dispelled. An illusory creature appears real, of the appropriate size, and behaves as if it were a real creature (as presented in the Monster Manual), except that it can do no harm. While you are within 120 feet of the illusory creature and can see it, you can use an action to move it magically anywhere within 30 feet of its card. Any physical interaction with the illusory creature reveals it to be an illusion, because objects pass through it. Someone who uses an action to visually inspect the creature identifies it as illusory with a successful DC 15 Intelligence (Investigation) check. The creature then appears translucent. The illusion lasts until its card is moved or the illusion is dispelled. When the illusion ends, the image on its card disappears, and that card can't be used again. Raven Queen´s Neckles of Prayerbeads (6 Beads) Wondrous Item, Rare (Requires Attunement by a Cleric, Druid, or Paladin) This necklace has 1d4 + 2 magic beads made from aquamarine, black pearl, or topaz. It also has many nonmagical beads made from stones such as amber, bloodstone, citrine, coral, jade, pearl, or quartz. If a magic bead is removed from the necklace, that bead loses its magic. Six types of magic beads exist. The GM decides the type of each bead on the necklace or determines it randomly. A necklace can have more than one bead of the same type. To use one, you must be wearing the necklace. Each bead contains a spell that you can cast from it as a bonus action (using your spell save DC if a save is necessary).
