ADVANCEMENT Characters who participate in this adventure gain one level. OPTIONAL: DECLINING ADVANCEMENT Players can decline advancement if they wish. This has its benefits: it’s possible for a character to advance beyond an adventure’s level range, leaving them unable to play an adventure as planned. GOLD Treasure (including items that have a monetary value but aren’t equipment, such as art objects and gems) remaining at the end of the adventure is converted to gold pieces and divided equally among the characters. Part 3 Art pieces and gems taken from unused rooms in the Central Citadel worth 40,000gp Wrap-Up A small sack of coin from Remi worth 6,000 gp each player gets 15,333.33 gold - 1000g for Planar Ally use from me so I got 14,333.33g MAGIC ITEMS AND MISCELLANY The characters can keep the following items Amulet of the devout + Clothes of mending Potion of supreme healing Spell scroll of heal Old CitadelSpellbook WE’VE GOT THEIR NUMBER You’ve found a significant amount of information about the impending Thayan invasion of Aglarond. This information should prove helpful in the future! MAGIC ITEMS AMULET OF THE DEVOUT (+3) Wondrous Item, Very Rare(requires attunement by a cleric or paladin) This amulet bears a single lapis lazuli star and is inlaid with turquoise and jade. While you wear the holy symbol, you gain a +3 bonus to spell attack rolls and the saving throw DCs of your spells. While you wear this amulet, you can use your Channel Divinity feature without expending one of the feature's uses. Once this property is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn. CLOTHES OF MENDING Wondrous Item, Common This elegant outfit is tailored perfectly to fit you, is properly fashionable for a Thayan noble, and magically mends itself to counteract daily wear and tear. Pieces of the outfit that are destroyed can't be repaired in this way. POTION OF SUPREME HEALING Potion, Very Rare You regain 10d4 + 20 hit points when you drink this potion. The potion's red liquid glimmers when agitated. SPELL SCROLL OF HEAL Scroll, Very Rare A spell scroll bears the words of a single spell, written in a mystical cipher. If the spell is on your class’s spell list, you can read the scroll and cast its spell without providing any material components. Otherwise, the scroll is unintelligible. Casting the spell by reading the scroll requires the spell’s normal casting time. Once the spell is cast, the words on the scroll fade, and it crumbles to dust. If the casting is interrupted, the scroll is not lost. If the spell is on your class’s spell list but of a higher level than you can normally cast, you must make an ability check using your spellcasting ability to determine whether you cast it successfully. The DC equals 10 + the spell’s level. On a failed check, the spell disappears from the scroll with no other effect. MISCELLANY OLD CITADEL SPELLBOOK This spellbook has seen better days, its once fine leather now cracked with age. The once intricate embossments had faded, and the binding has been broken more times than seems reasonable. The pages are yellowed with age and are heavily creased from years of use. The calligraphy with which the spells are scribed is immaculate. The spellbook contains the following spells: Abi-Dalzim's horrid wilting*, alarm, alter self, animate dead, arcane eye, astral projection, bestow curse, burning hands, charm person, chromatic orb, clairvoyance, cloud of daggers, cloudkill, comprehend languages, cone of cold, conjure elemental, contact other plane, continual flame, control weather, counterspell, crown of madness, detect magic, detect thoughts, dispel magic, dominate person, draconic transformation‡, dream of the blue veil†, feign death, foresight, guards and wards, incendiary cloud, investiture of flame*, investiture of ice*, investiture of stone*, investiture of wind*, maze, meteor swarm, mirage arcane, power word pain*, power word stun, prismatic wall, shapechange, telepathy, and wall of ice. *This spell originally appeared in Xanathar’s Guide to Everything and is included below for convenience. †This spell originally appeared in Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything and is included below for convenience. ‡This spell originally appeared in Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons and is included below for convenience.
