Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster) This red crystal is carved in the shape of a dragon wyrmling emerging from an egg. While attuned to this item, you gain the following benefits: • While holding this item, it can be used as a spellcasting focus for all your spells. • You gain advantage to your initiative rolls. • Whenever you cast a spell that deals acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison damage, roll a d6, and you gain a bonus equal to the number rolled to one of the spell’s damage rolls. • While you are holding the focus, you can cast certain spells. Once the item is used to cast a given spell, it can’t be used to cast that spell again until the next dawn. • Spells granted: hold monster, rime’s binding ice.
