Shadow Tome
This book is written with white writing up black paper. It evokes feelings of wistful sadness whenever it is gazed upon. It contains the spells: bestow curse, blight, blindness/deafness, comprehend languages, darkness, darkvision, dispel magic, fear, Evard’s black tentacles, find familiar, and witch bolt. The spells in this item can be found in the Player’s Handbook.

1. First Weapon Returned. Max gold for their level for each character in the party, and each character may choose five rare consumables (following normal rules for the number of pieces of magical ammunition). A character could, for example, choose 2 potions of superior healing, 2 spells scroll of greater restoration, and 1d6 +2 crossbow bolts. (Potion of Healing, Superior 5x)
2. Second Weapon Returned. Each character may choose one of the following items: arrow catching shield, bracers of defense, canaith mandolin, necklace of prayer beads (with six beads), staff of the woodlands, +2 wand of the war mage, or a +2 weapon. (Staff of the Woodlands)
3. Third Weapon Returned. Each character receives either a blessing of protection or a blessing of weapon enhancement (player choice) and when the character gains 17th level can claim one of these legendary items for their own use subject to the MIL restrictions. (Blessing of Protection)

Qesnef’s valuables have been casually shoved beneath the divan. The hoard includes Blackrazor, a sentient greatsword (see “Sample Sentient Items” in chapter 7 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide), 1,000 ep, 200 pp, four pieces of jewelry worth a total of 11,000 gp, a potion of greater healing, a scroll of protection (fiends), and armor of vulnerability (slashing).

In addition, Qesnef wears a ring of protection on his left hand and a ring of spell storing (with two mirror image spells in it) on his right.

The Factions now have access to a store of ore that has been sustain prolonged exposure to unusual elemental energies. If you are Rank 2 or higher with a faction, you may spend 60 downtime days to assist your faction with the crafting and fitting of a suit of nonmagical metal armor. You must pay the full price of the armor, however, when complete, it bestows resistance to fire damage when worn.

As a nonmagical suit of armor, this item is non-tradeable.

Staff of the Python
The body of the staff is made out of wood from a narra tree. The curved head is shaped like a snake made out of copper. The staff is a symbol of Bulkawa’s kindness and its effort to make sure that you will never face the challenges life throws at you alone.

This "helm" is a really a projection of light cast by a group of incoporeal fireflies. Fireflies serve instead of gems, vanishing forever once they've done their duty.

This dazzling helm is set with 8 diamonds, 12 rubies, 18 fire opals, and 30 opals. Any gem pried from the helm crumbles to dust. When all the gems are removed or destroyed, the helm loses its magic.
