Notes
Rewards for 9/21/23 (with apologies for being forgetful and thus super late!): **WBW-DC-AA-ASHALON-02** **Under the Cover of Stars** 1 level (if you choose to take it) 10 downtime days 4,000 gp divided by 6 = **666 gp, 6 sp, 6 cp each** (plus 4 leftover copper) And the following magic items: **Frost Salamander Whistle (Horn of Valhalla, Silver)** *Wondrous item, rare* You can use an action to blow this horn. In response, 2d4 warrior spirits from the Valhalla appear within 60 feet of you. They use the statistics of a berserker. They return to Valhalla after 1 hour or when they drop to 0 hit points. Once you use the horn, it can't be used again until 7 days have passed. This horn was formed from the skull of a white dragon once offered to Aesandoral the Frostlord. It summons frost salamanders (with the statistics of berserkers). It will also carry your voice loudly as you bellow your battle commands. **Wand of Stars (Wand of Pyrotechnics)** *Wand, common* This wand has 7 charges. While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 of its charges and create a harmless burst of multicolored light at a point you can see up to 60 feet away. The burst of light is accompanied by a crackling noise that can be heard up to 300 feet away. The light is as bright as a torch flame but lasts only a second. The wand regains 1d6 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the wand’s last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the wand erupts in a harmless pyrotechnic display and is destroyed. This wand, created by the archfey Ananeira's research, releases miniature shooting stars. It can also provide light in the darkness. You can use a bonus action to shed bright moonlight in a 10-ft radius and dim light for another 10 ft. You also have the option to select the following: **Magical Gift of Training** If the characters so choose, they can learn the following skills from either of the archfeys: *Arcana (Ananeira)* *Animal Handling (Aesandoral)* You have acquired the interest of one of the ruling archfeys of Nyx, and you may learn their favorite talents from them. You must spend 100 downtime days plus 100 gp to gain this benefit. Training. This normally costs 250 downtime days and 1gp/day (PH 187) and is also limited to languages or tool proficiencies. The archfey instead grants a specific training or daily inspiration. The adventure must specify which language, tool proficiency, or skill proficiency the archfey grants through training. A character may only possess one magical gift from an archfey at a time; if another archfey grants a magical gift, the character must choose whether to accept the new gift (and pay the associated cost) and remove the old one, or decline the gift.
