This fearsome carved jack-o-lantern fits over your head. It makes your eyes glow yellow while you wear it.

This fearsome skull helm is wreathed in illusory green flames and makes your eyes glow red.

*This alabaster lance, named "Dream Whirl" by those who created it, is carved with deep swirling patterns that seem to move with you, calming your emotions and silencing surface thoughts.

Also, the original owner's dreams and anger still dwell within the lance. When within 120 feet of an illithid (mind flayer), its kin, or any of its creations, righteous fury radiates from the lance as it darkens into deep blood crimson. It functions as an ordinary +3 lance.*

This sheet appears to be plain white cotton cloth with two eyeholes cut into it. When you wear the sheet over your head, you appear to be incorporeal. Physical interaction reveals this to be an illusion.

You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. The bow also has the Sentinel minor property and glows faintly when giants are within 120 feet of it. For this weapon, "giant" refers to any creature with the giant type, including ogres and trolls.

Created by the astral elves of the Paradise Moon, the leaves of the Golden Apple are made of brilliantly colored crystals, grown in the Crystal Grove of the Hesperides Temple. So that the adventurers may carry the Song of the Hesperides with them wherever they travel, whenever spells are cast through the item, its crystal leaves resonate against one another, 'echoing' a tiny portion of the ancient song back to its wielder.

Whenever this item is struck or is used to strike a foe, its bearer hears a fragment of an ancient song.*

This black, cone-shaped hat has a wide-brim and is adorned with a tarnished brass buckle and a spindly-legged spider who has made the hat its home. While you are wearing it, you gain the following benefits:
• You can use the hat as a spellcasting focus for your class' spells.
• You can try to cast a cantrip that you don't know. The cantrip must be on your class' spell list, and you must make DC10 Intelligence (Arcana) check. If the check succeeds, you cast the spell. If the check fails, so does the spell, and the action used to cast the spell is wasted. In either case, you can't use this property again until you finish a long rest.
• If three allies are all wearing and attuned to hats of witchery and are within 30 feet of each other, the check above is made with advantage. The characters' skin turns green, and their voices become raspy and aged.

This pirate hat was once worn by Captain Quor'hin of the Githyanki Space Galleon Kur'Rakesh. Made of dark purple fabric and trimmed with silver lace, the hat is both a fashion statement and a useful item for any enterprising wizard, all rolled up into one. The password to disable the glyph of warding in the Captain's Quarters is embroidered on the inside of the hat's brim. The password is Goldfish.
