**DDEX01-3 The Scroll Thief** (13 Jan 2023, 8.30 p.m - 12.30 a.m) DM: keenobeano#9193 **Treasure** 735 gp/5 = **147 gp per person** Headband of Intellect Spell Scroll of _Dispel Magic_ Spell Scroll of _Hold Person_ Potion of Healing **Story Summary** - The party were tasked by the Mantor Library with investigating the disappearance of several books. - Over the course of their investigation across the city, they found clues that traced the thefts to someone in the Mantor Library - Returning with their findings, they discovered that two scribes were coincidentally missing on the day. - On a hunch, they investigated the archives and found one of two missing scribes dead. No soon after, there was a loud blare and upon checking, a hole was made in the library's sub basement to the sewers. - Hot on the thief's trail, they emerged in the Twilight Marsh where it was discovered that a scribe of the Mantor Library and a black dragon wyrmling coordinated the heist. - They defeated the dragon and the scribe was killed by Rashazara's hands.
