You can cast speak with dead during a long rest to contact the spirit of a friend or family member without that spirit’s corpse. The spirit’s answers to your questions manifest as whispers only you can hear. The charm does not function if the spirit you try to contact is Undead or was the target of speak with dead within the last 10 days. Once you use this charm, it vanishes from you. Story Summary - The Party were on their way to the San Citlán to attend the Night of the Remembered. They were ambush by bounty hunters. The party persuaded them that they got the wrong guy - The Party met La Paloma the leader of the outlaw gang. Who tasked them to find the source and cure of a magical affliction known as the Sereno. - The party later arrived at Hollow Town. They met Itzmin who owns the mine and the town, who discourage them from entering the mine. The party entered anyway. The party descend the mine and encountered Teocín and other monsters. They found Serapio's quarters as well and some clue regarding the curse the rumored fiend - The party later escaped the mine and arrive at San Citlán, and by asking around they found Doña Rosa’s Vecindad. Who told them the story of her family and her son Serapio. - The party found Itzmin again and chased him down. He told the party to head to the Metalworks where Serapio works to find him. The party found Serapio and managed to separate him and the fiend Tlacatecolo. Finally the party defeated Tlacatecolo and ended the curse
