Kirogars (Kir) Vergangenheit war außergewöhnlich... gewöhnlich. Keine traumatischen Erinnerungen, keine verschollenen Eltern. Nicht einmal außerwählt war sie. Daher staunten die Priester des Helm auch nicht schlecht, als Kirogar vor den Pforten von Helm stand und ganz schlicht darum bat, ein Streiter Helms zu werden. Und sie staunten noch mehr, dass Helm offenbar nichts dagegen einzuwenden hatte, da sie seine heilige Macht auch empfing. Kirogar wollte einfach nur gutes tun und sie schloss sich dem Order of the Gauntlet an. Dort kam sie mit den "Suchenden" in Kontakt. Eine kleine, unbeachtete Gruppierung im Orden mit fast schon fanatischen Ansichten über Recht und Ordnung.
