You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic short sword. This thin blade is a foot and a half in length, and scorched black. No amount of oiling, scrubbing, or cleaning will remove the stain or brighten the blade. It ends in a jagged, broken edge, as if it was once much longer. The hilt is protected by a fencer’s basket guard. The pommel has a socket, as if for a jewel, but it is empty. This short sword cuts easily through flesh and bone, and leaves the faint smell of smoke in it’s wake.
