------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1x Spellwrought Tattoo: Chardalyn Crystal (Frostfingers, Ice Knife, Inflict Wound) Rausgekauft: A luxurious cold weather mantle made from sabre tooth tiger pelt and leather. The buttons and other decoration on the mantle seem to be made from the long teeth of an sabre tooth tiger. Worth 10gp ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Story Award: Friend for Life (Bonbon) "You saved the giant weasel Bonbon from certain death. Bonbon remains an affectionate pet for the remainder of his natural lifetime. Bonbon usually steals all sweets he comes across and loves to cause mischief by hiding player characters favored trinkets from time to time." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chardalyn Staff (Staff of Flowers) Staff, common "This staff was made from pure Chardalyn, an icy crystal with immense magical powers. The staff can be used to channel arcane spells as usual but when fed with the blood of its wielder the staff is able to grow a field of beautiful Chardalyn flowers around itself looking like lilies, while the stem of those flowers seem to be made of clear blue Chardalyn the petals take instead on the color of the sacrificed blood. The big Chardalyn Crystal that adornes the staff also gives off a faint ghostly magical glow." This wooden staff has 10 charges. While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 charge from the staff and cause a flower to sprout from a patch of earth or soil within 5 feet of you, or from the staff itself. Unless you choose a specific kind of flower, the staff creates a mild-scented daisy. The flower is harmless and nonmagical, and it grows or withers as a normal flower would. The staff regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff turns into flower petals and is lost forever. Beacon. The bearer can use a bonus action to cause the item to shed bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet, or to extinguish the light. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chardalyn Crystal (Frostfingers, Ice Knife, Inflict Wound) Wondrous item (tattoo), Common "This brittle crystal made of Chardalyn can be crushed in the hand, icy sharp shards pierce the skin of the wielder and infuses them with unholy magics. The most common symptom of such Chardalyn use are blackened veins especially in the region, in this case the arm, where it was crushed or administered." 1st Common +3 13 +5 Produced by a special needle, this magic tattoo contains a single spell of up to 5th level, wrought on your skin by a magic needle. To use the tattoo, you must hold the needle against your skin and speak the command word. The needle turns into ink that becomes the tattoo, which appears on the skin in whatever design you like. Once the tattoo is there, you can cast its spell, requiring no material components. The tattoo glows faintly while you cast the spell and for the spell's duration. Once the spell ends, the tattoo vanishes from your skin. The level of the spell in the tattoo determines the spell's saving throw DC, attack bonus, spellcasting ability modifier, and the tattoo's rarity, as shown in the Spellwrought Tattoo table. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snowglobe of Mind Shielding (Ring of Mind Shielding) Ring, Uncommon (Requires Attunement) "This intricate arcane contraption seems to trap the soul of its bearer in case they die an untimely death. The Snowglobe seems to provide a rudimentary plane for the soul which takes form of a little landscape shrouded in eternal winter, a little almost frozen lake as well as a nice cottage. The inhabitant of this plane can summon most mundane items and make modifications to the landscape but those items can never be brought outside of this plane as they are just an mental projection." "The Snowglobe is currently occupied by the soul of Bran Featherwood, an powerful mage that is fairly happy having achieved somewhat immortality and having not to worry about the Rime of the Frostmaiden at all. If left alive he happily chats with the bearer of the Snowglobe and provides help and insight into arcane matters if needed because in his own words "I have nothing better to do inside here.". Bran Featherwood has an +6 to Arcana and History (Mage Stat Block) and with the allowance of the DM can help with skill checks. Furthermore he uses his magic talents to protect the bearer of the Snowglobe from unwanted intrusions into their minds. The Snowglobe is also able to detect elementals, if an elemental is near it the blizzard inside the globe intensifies by tenfold." While wearing this ring, you are immune to magic that allows other creatures to read your thoughts, determine whether you are lying, know your alignment, or know your creature type. Creatures can telepathically communicate with you only if you allow it. You can take a Magic action to cause the ring to become imperceptible until you take another Magic action to make it perceptible, until you remove the ring, or until you die. If you die while wearing the ring, your soul enters it, unless it already houses a soul. You can remain in the ring or depart for the afterlife. As long as your soul is in the ring, you can telepathically communicate with any creature wearing it. A wearer can’t prevent this telepathic communication. Sentinel. Choose a kind of creature that is an enemy of the item’s creator. This item glows faintly when such creatures are within 120 feet of it.
