Welcome to Phandalin Nestled in the rocky foothills of the snow-capped Sword Mountains is the mining town of Phandalin, which consists of forty or fifty simple log buildings. Crumbling stone ruins surround the newer houses and shops, showing how this must have been a much larger town in centuries past. Phandalin’s residents are quiet, hard-working folk who came from distant cities to eke out a life amid the harsh wilderness. They are farmers, stonecutters, blacksmiths, traders, prospectors, and children. The town has no walls and no garrison, but most of the adults keep weapons within easy reach in case the need for arms should arise. Visitors are welcome here, particularly if they have coin to spend or news to share. The Stonehill Inn at the center of town offers modest lodging and meals. A couple of doors down from the inn, posted outside the townmaster’s hall, is a job board for adventurers. The frontier town of Phandalin is built on the ruins of a much older settlement. Hundreds of years ago, the old Phandalin was a thriving human town whose people were firmly allied with neighboring dwarves and gnomes. Then an orc horde swept through the area and laid waste to the settlement, and Phandalin was abandoned for centuries. In the last three or four years, settlers from the cities of Neverwinter and Waterdeep have begun the hard work of reclaiming the ruins of Phandalin. Azalea war schon eine weile unterwegs als sie den Auftrag mit einigen anderen Abenteurern erhilt eine Karawane nach Phandalin zu begleiten. Unter den abenteurern waren einige Interessante Gesichter doch am interessantesten war der Tiefling der so coole Hörner hatte das Sie ihn immer wieder neckte und versuchte darauf zu landen. Was ihr leider nie gelang weil er sie immer wieder gleich bemerkte und sie verscheuchte. Als sie nach einer Ereignislosen reise ankammen suchten sie erst mal den schmied auf den Azalea natürlich erst mal gehörig einen schrecken einjagte weil sie schnurstracks auf ihn zu flog ohne Vorwarnung natürlich. Er hätte sie fast mit den hammer getroffen doch sie wich gekonnt aus. Sie erkundigten sich nach arbeit und Unterkunft bei ihm wobei er sie sofort auf einen botengang schickte richtung taverne wo ein schild zu einen Kunden gebracht werden musste. Und das wie sich rausstellte ohne bezahlung. Naja war aber auch nicht weit. In der taverne sprach sie auch sogleich eine weitere Tiefling dame an der das schild anscheind gehörte. Tieflinge faszinierten Azalea und natürlich wurde diese sofort begutachtet. sie war etwas zierlicher als ihr der andere Tiefling aber hatte dafür wunderschöne geschwungene Hörner die Azale antürlich sogleich komplimentierte. Und zu ihrem erfreuen war diese auch etwas offener und komplimentierte dan ihre flügel. Es kam selten vor das Azalea sowas hörte da sie meistens als nervtötend bezeichnet wurde. Die Tiefling dame schlos sich nach kurzem Unterhalten der gruppe an da sie auch nach Arbeit suchte. Zwei der Gruppenmitglider waren an den Tresengegangen und hatten sich wohl etwas gegönt auf alle fälle kamen sie mnit einer seltsamen Geschichte zurück von einen Leuchturm der schiffe verschluckt oder so ähnlich. Die gruppe entschied erst mal zum Rathaus zu gehn und auf das Auftragsbrett zu schaun ob da ansprechende aufgaben hingen. loot:10gp

Shard of Snow Ice (Ioun Stone of Protection) Wondrous item rare (requires attunement) Roughly marble sized, Ioun Stones are named after Ioun, a god of knowledge and prophecy revered on some worlds. Many types of Ioun Stones exist, each type a distinct combination of shape and color. When you take a Magic action to toss an Ioun Stone into the air, the stone orbits your head at a distance of 1d3 feet, conferring its benefit to you while doing so. You can have up to three Ioun Stones orbiting your head at the same time. Each Ioun Stone orbiting your head is considered to be an object you are wearing. The orbiting stone avoids contact with other creatures and objects, adjusting its orbit to avoid collisions and thwarting all attempts by other creatures to attack or snatch it. As a Utilize action, you can seize and stow any number of Ioun Stones orbiting your head. If your Attunement to an Ioun Stone ends while it’s orbiting your head, the stone falls as though you had dropped it. The type of stone determines its rarity and effects. Protection. You gain a +1 bonus to Armor Class while this dusty-rose prism orbits your head. This small shard of everlasting crystal ice appears to be a chipped off fragment from the control crystal of Ermyar’s Tower. In addition, this stone has the Temperate minor property: You are unharmed by temperatures of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or lower, and 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. Ermyar’s Contract (Spell Scroll of Simulacrum) Scroll, very rare A spell scroll bears the words of a single spell, written in a mystical cipher. If the spell is on your class’s spell list, you can read the scroll and cast its spell without providing any material components. Otherwise, the scroll is unintelligible. Casting the spell by reading the scroll requires the spell’s normal casting time. Once the spell is cast, the words on the scroll fade, and it crumbles to dust. If the casting is interrupted, the scroll is not lost. If the spell is on your class’s spell list but of a higher level than you can normally cast, you must make an ability check using your spellcasting ability to determine whether you cast it successfully. The DC equals 17. On a failed check, the spell disappears from the scroll with no other effect. This scroll contains a 7th level spell. The spell's saving throw DC is 18 and attack bonus is +10. A wizard spell on a spell scroll can be copied just as spells in spellbooks can be copied. When a spell is copied from a spell scroll, the copier must succeed on an Intelligence (Arcana) check with a DC equal to 17. If the check succeeds, the spell is successfully copied. Whether the check succeeds or fails, the spell scroll is destroyed. This item is found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide.
