Der letzte Raum einge gefühlte Bibiothek die von einen Konstrukt beschützt wird. Sein Core besteht aus schwarzen Mithral mit einer Ligirung die Lucien nicht kennt. Seven tiny stars are engraved around its rim. When held toward faded writing, fragments of surviving ink appear sharper beneath the glass, while celestial charts sometimes reveal markings invisible to the naked eye. Faded Script While looking through the lens, you can read nonmagical writing that has become illegible due to age, fading, discoloration, water damage, or ordinary wear, provided enough of the original ink or markings still physically remain. The lens cannot restore or reveal writing that has been: burned away, scraped or deliberately erased, physically torn away, destroyed completely, or removed through magic. The lens does not translate unfamiliar languages or decipher codes. Celestial Margins When the lens is used on old astronomical writings, the DM may reveal faded marginal notes, forgotten annotations, tiny diagrams, or surviving fragments of text that would otherwise be impossible to notice. These discoveries provide information rather than automatic solutions. The lens cannot reveal writing that never existed on the examined surface. Appearance The lens consists of a slender brass frame that folds into itself for storage. The smoky blue glass is unusually clear despite its age, and the seven engraved stars around its edge are worn smooth from repeated handling. When placed over very old celestial writing, faint pinpricks of reflected light occasionally appear within the glass, resembling distant stars. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pearl of the Unwritten Servant HBp69 Wondrous Item A perfectly spherical black pearl, roughly the size of a large marble, with a surface so dark that light seems to slide across it rather than reflect from it. It is not cold. It is not warm. Yet when held for more than a few moments, it somehow acquires exactly the temperature of the hand carrying it. No hole has been drilled through it. No mounting or chain accompanies it. Under bright light, impossibly fine lines can occasionally be seen beneath its surface, resembling handwriting trapped several layers inside the pearl.
