Lamprecht war als absoluter Nichtsnutz in seiner Heimat bekannt ständig am trinken dumm wie Bohnenstroh ein furchtbarer Gesprächspartner und alles was er anfasste ging kaputt. Als er bei einem missglückten Flirtversuch die Tochter des Bürgermeisters ungehobelt anmachte war es diesem zu viel und er verbannte Lamprecht "jemanden wie dich braucht man nirgends!" wurde ihm auf dem Weg aus dem Dorf noch hinterher gerufen. Nun ist Lamprecht in Faerun unterwegs versucht sich nützlich zu machen Leuten zu helfen und in Not geratene zu retten soweit er nur kann. Wenn er darauf angesprochen wird würde er diese Geschichte aber nie einfach so erzählen sondern das er nur aus Wanderslust unterwegs ist.
