21/06/2022 - SKT Chapter 9- Session 20 - Tilarna, Tullius, Gnak Gnak, Meek, Kushten

Solved the Evermoors troll problem for the village of Calling Horns for the leader named Tamalin.
Broke into the cloud giant castle in the sky and 'confiscated' some magic items. Met a cloud giant who wanted to escort you to his sister but it all kicked off when he noticed the missing items. Session ended 4 rounds after alarm first raised. Currently fighting Helmed Horrors x 2 and some blue Aarokocra guards who just arrived. Count Thullen the Cloud giant escaped down the stairs.
Rewards:
Magic Items: Instrument of the bards (Anstruth Harp), Banner of the Krig Rune.

Fun game. Neogi hatchlings killed half the party and knocked out the other two party members at lvl 1. Ship to ship battle nailed though.

Its around 1.30am. They are near the entrance to the subterannean level. Asbara Jos the Red wizard legged it past you. Still in combat. turn order applies. Rescued the rest of the kids. Fought a shambling mound. released a dwarf prisoner who claims to be part of a group of heroes known as Valor’s Call. Ended the session in initiative after loudly opening the kitchen door to reveal Will and a load of Redcaps behind him.

Completed Chapter 10 and got half way through chapter 11. Goblin maids are a thing.

Rescued King Hekaton and found a diary naming Lymrith as the person who hired the Kraken society to kill the queen and capture the king.
Rewards: 1 level up, 10 DT, 239gp each worth of mundane items.

Part 1 of Squamous Writhings complete. Beldek died courtesy of a Chitines lethal blows. Killed a player on my debut. Other party members were Durzo, Reeva, Slap-On-Flesh, Gojira and Vin. Double rewards as played on roll20, triple rewards as completed DM quest on/off the grid On/Off the Grid
'If you normally run with maps & minis, run a whole session using theater of the mind. Conversely if you normally use theater of the mind, run a whole session using the variant rules for “Playing on a Grid” in the D&D Basic Rules or Player’s Handbook for the major encounters'
