Dort angekommen stellt sich heraus, dass der Braichdyn des Ortes Bevin Howell sein Amt nicht im Griff hat und deshalb verschiedentlich angefeindet wird. Die Befragungen ergeben keine eindeutigen Hinweise, aber Giogorio findet in Bevins Büro eine verschlüsselte Nachricht, die Lisa ohne Hilfsmittel lösen kann. Als sich schließlich bei Molly Teyraphe der Code zur Entschlüsselung befindet, den sie von ihrer Mutter bekommen hat, richtet sich unser Verdacht auf Kerth Teyraphe. Nach einem Halt in der Taverne, wo Giogorios Rabe aufdecken kann, dass der Wirt ein Changeling in drei unterschiedlichen Identitäen ist, und dem Genuss des Sonnenuntergangs an der Klippe kehren wir in das nächtliche Dorf zurück, wo uns grudelige Illsuionen erwarten. Es stellt sich heraus, dass die gesamte Familie Teyraphe in Wahrhet Unssely Feys sind, die uns mit Unterstützung von Redcaps, Quicklings, einem Darkling und einem Displacer Beast verzaubern und bekämpfen wollen. Während Lisa bezaubert Mhurren angreift, versuchen Giogorio und Thommy erfolgreich diese Bezauberung zu beenden und stattdessen mehrre Gegner bezaubert aus dem Kampf herauszuhalten. Dadurch kann Mhurren die Gegner fast im Alleingang nacheinander ausschalten. ...

Applying the oil takes 10 minutes. The affected creature then gains the effect of the etherealness spell for 1 hour. The red in the potion's liquid continuously expands from a tiny bead to color the clear liquid around it and then contracts. Shaking the bottle fails to interrupt this process. Schließlich stoßen wir auf Kobolde, die eigentlich den Drachen unterstützen. Ihr Anführer Gulpu ist aber bereits uns zu unterstützen, wenn wir dafür die Ankhegs im Süden vertreiben, einen Gang untersuchen und den 1. Offizier von Vatras, Vex, beseitigen, damit er selbst aufsteigen kann. Wir führen die Aufgaben aus und werden mit einigen Tränken beschenkt.

Auf einer Koralleninsel gelandet treffen wir erneut auf Fea und ihre restlichen Sahuagin. In eine Wall of Force gesperrt kooperiert sie und informiert uns über die Absichten ihrer Schwestern, mit dem Tod des Song Dragon's ein Ritual zu vollführen. Mit Dispell Magic von der Magie befreit kann Mhurren die Spinnfäden, welche Lindeya gefangen halten, mit seiner Sense durchtrennen. Im Obergeschoss treffen wir auf einen Treant, der Vertrauen zu uns fasst, weil wir mit ihm die Redcaps überwinden wollen. Als wir einem lauten Knall nachgehen, finden sich aber alle an einem Ort wieder: die beiden verbliebenen Hags, drei Fomorianer und ein Arcanaloth. Es entbrennt ein wilder Kampf, den die Gruppe schließlich gewinnt.

Der Bronzedrache Karnalex bittet uns, die Ursache zu beseitigen und setzt uns in der Nähe eines Turms, dem er sich selbst nicht nähern kann, ab. Wir finden Kraken, eine tentakelige Riesendame und einen Sturmriesen, der sich finsteren Ritualen verschrieben hat und mehrere Kreaturen gefangen hält. Als das Ritual auf dem Dach gerade gelungen ist, können wir den Riesen dennoch vernichtend schlagen und es kehrt wieder Ruhe über der Moonsea ein.

Er nutzt unsere Zwangsalge aus, indem er uns für den Weg nach draußen bittet, die Seele des Feuerkaisers Vatras in die Hölle zu schicken. Als Starthilfe sprengt er uns einen Weg zum Drachenhort frei und überlässt jedem eine Potion of Fire Resistance. Znächst müssen wir uns auf einer Treppe mehrerer Kultisten erwehren, die Elenara aber mit Entangle festsetzen kann. Im Hort des Feuerkaisers hat sich der Drache unter den Unmengen von Münzen versteckt, und taucht auf, als Quedania eine Münze mitnhmen möchte. Am unvermeidlichen Kampf kann Mhurren kaum eilnehmen, da er den Kommandos des Drachens wie "Flieh!" nicht widerstehen kann. Als er sich wieder nähern kann, hat Desariel den Drachen gerade vermeintlich kurzzeitig in de Hölle verbannt, doch er kommt nicht wieder und Desariel bedankt sich per Brief für die Lieferung. So steht uns der Weg nach draußen endlich offen.
