Learned there were other monstrous books and travelled to Baldur's Gate to investigate. Discovered that the books were fakes created by shapechanger merchants through a ritual. Defeated the merchants and recovered the original copies of the book, returned them to Candlekeep.

Found the body of Matreus and defeated the imps that killed him.
