When the attunement is complete, the needle turns into the ink that becomes the tattoo, which appears on the skin. If your attunement to the tattoo ends, the tattoo vanishes, and the needle reappears in your space.

Damage Resistance. While the tattoo is on your skin, you have resistance to a type of damage associated with that color, as shown on the table below. The DM chooses the color or determines it randomly.

Damage Absorption. When you take damage of the chosen type, you can use your reaction to gain immunity against that instance of the damage, and you regain a number of hit points equal to half the damage you would have taken. The needle of this tattoo was taken from one of the crystal shards surrounding Ligyron’s crystallized heart. The energies here are so diverse that the characters choose which energy type their tattoo absorbs. Ligyron nigh-indestructible divinity, being the nigh-indestructible god of war, makes this needle immune to damage. This needle has the Unbreakable minor property: The item can’t be broken. Special means must be used to destroy it.

This turnip-shaped tankard comes straight from the top shelf of Yansun Yan’s mini-bar. He swears that Prince Andru himself wanted this exact tankard for the “Annual Turnip-Beer Drinking Gauntlet.” It is made from kiln dried mashed turnips. This tankard has the Strange Material minor property: The item was created from a material that is bizarre given its purpose. Its durability is unaffected.
