Long discussion on RAW vs. RAI. Started with one DM on the Discord channel I am a part of complaining about being able to polymorph in to a dinosaur even if you haven't seen one. I mentored other DMs on when to use RAF to sort issues out, which seemed completely new to them. Two hours about setting tone for future games on channel x 10 DMs (just counting actives in conversation).

Copy fear and haste from captured spellbook, scribe magic weapon from scroll. (With Guidance it's an auto-succeed). Took fireball and counterspell as basic 5th level spells.

Buy scroll of greater invisibility to transcribe eventually.

• Day after this purchase, AL Admins retroactively eliminated CCC playtest awards. Erky is not playable until I award at least 5150 xp and 800 gold to cover this retroactive ruling. Don't think admins considered this possibility.

Base of 1500/750/10 for four hours of level 8 DMing. Double for cursed DM and triple for ethereal DM.

Story awards: Ally of the Forest. Goodberry the unicorn owes the adventurers a favor. During a short or long rest, the unicorn’s blessing causes a magical bush with 10 berries to grow near the adventurer’s camp or abode, as per the goodberry spell. Cross this Story Award off once it is used.

Glimmercoal’s Ire. The adventurers have earned the ire of Glimmercoal the cambion for slaying his mortal form. In encounters with Glimmercoal in the future, he will seek to magically control and/or destroy adventurers with this Story Award over any other potential target.

Play w/ Tom C's Necra, who just came from Amber Temple. I take Catnap and Life Transference on leveling up for him. Then I copy 60 levels of spells... Buy Pebbles the sea otter. With a luxurious coat of reds and browns, this adorable sea otter has an affinity for cracking open sea urchins - and biting fingers (especially halfling fingers). While it behaves like a cat that loves water, it possesses a far more devious personality and can would make a capable familiar. If killed or reduced to zero hit points, Pebbles can be recalled via find familiar, and uses the statistics of a normal cat from the monster manual. It has a swim speed of 30 feet, can hold its breath for twice the normal time, and can see just as well underwater as it can in air.

Nilo doesn't read the room and takes forever. Take Synaptic Static on level, reserve right to add other spell until I have more time since the two hour mod went 5+
