The famed Callidyrr dragoon Captain Steffan Conwirdin lost his hand during an attempt to spirit Prince Owaren Kendrick from the isle of Snowdown. The captain replaced his missing limb with this glimmering, cobalt-hued prosthetic. Many who fought in Koart and O’Malley during the invasion of Caer Corwell recalled seeing Captain Conwirdin wearing this cobalt hand to swing his blade expertly. There was no sign of the captain afterward.

This item replaces a lost hand. While the prosthetic is attached, it functions identically to the part it replaces. You can detach or reattach it as an action, and it can’t be removed against your will. It detaches if you die.

Notes:

This flat iron rod has a button on one end. You can use an action to press the button, which causes the rod to become magically fixed in place. Until you or another creature uses an action to push the button again, the rod doesn't move, even if it is defying gravity. The rod can hold up to 8,000 pounds of weight. More weight causes the rod to deactivate and fall. A creature can use an action to make a DC 30 Strength check, moving the fixed rod up to 10 feet on a success.

This horn has 4 charges. When you use an action to blow it, one creature of your choice can hear the horn's blare, provided the creature is within 600 feet of the horn and not deafened. No other creature hears sound coming from the horn. The horn regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn.

Language. The bearer can speak and understand Aquan while the item is on the bearer's person.
