Language. The bearer can speak and understand Primordial language while the item is on the bearer’s person. The bearer can also understand the language of chickens and other avians. The characters can keep the following magic items as part of a pact with an archfey. The archfey, the Fenghuang, imbues characters with a Lifewell Tattoo to use. ***Pact of The Fenghuang*** (Everyone, @Healing Damage, @DM Mar Z, @Lordozis, @Stonesteel, @Radavel) *Magical Gift: Training Notes* A character may only possess one magical gift from an archfey at a time; if another archfey grants a magical gift, the character must choose whether to accept the new gift (and pay the associated cost) and remove the old one, or decline the new gift. Training. Characters gain a colorful tattoo of a Fenghuang. The Fenghuang offers characters the gift to gain tool proficiency in Navigator’s Tools. Characters must spend 12d12 days in the abode of the Fenghuang to learn the tool or skill. 50 downtime days, 0 gp. ***Phoenix Down*** (Everyone, @Healing Damage, @DM Mar Z, @Lordozis, @Stonesteel, @Radavel) You gain possession of a magical feather of an archfey. One time, and only when you die, immediately as a reaction you can spend 99 downtime, you can then be reborn with one hit point and gain immunity to all damage until the beginning of your next turn. Afterward, this story award is to be removed. (edited) ***Shadow Chicken*** (Everyone, @Healing Damage, @DM Mar Z, @Lordozis, @Stonesteel, @Radavel) Characters can summon a Shadow Chicken from their own shadow once per dawn for 1d4 hours. The Shadow Chicken has the statistics of a chicken (raven). The Shadow Chicken can also transform into a roc mount for one hour 1/day. They cannot attack, defend, distract, or otherwise play any role in combat. Characters can collect these masks from the Luna Carnival or any archfey in the realm of Samsara. If the character does not have the mask, the character is awarded with a blessed Chicken Mask. Gotta Mask Them All. Mask = Archfey Rat = The Piper Ox = The Herder Tiger = The Maharani Rabbit = The Jade Hare Cat = The Familiar Dragon = The Dragon Lord Serpent = The Pearl Horse = The Qilin Sheep = The Shepherd Monkey = The Stone Sage Chicken = The Egg Dog = The Guardian Pig = The Fool Wearers of the mask gain a level of respect from denizens of the domain of Samsara. Characters with this title may gain advantage on any roll in the domain of Samsara once per adventure. The thirteen archfey that rule the domain of Samsara, Zodiac XIII look more favorably on those with this story award. ZODIAC XIII. If all thirteen masks are collected they magically merge into one mask. Gaining the ability to change into all thirteen animals 1/day in the domain of Samsara. This requires each mask to be blessed by their corresponding archfey or this aspect of the story award stays dormant. Advance one level (if desired). End of each play session that completes an Adventurers League adventure or a part of an official D&D adventure grants 10 days downtime.
