Players: @jweiart (Leah Spellbound), @healingdamage (Archimedes "Archie" Morningstar), @aaaaaaaaaaaaaster (Genevieve), @ciphervoid (Xadriel "X" Prussia-Luxbourne), @scufft (Sorynn Oelmack) Level Up: At Your Own Discretion Downtime: 10 Gold: 1400 GP each Consumables: - 1 x Spell Scroll (Silence) Story Awards: ***Bond of Fellowship*** You encountered three Harper agents during your time in Xorvintroth (cross out anyone who didn’t survive): • Amri Thistlebrick • Salros Eventide • Tua _____ ***Journal entry no. 99, caravan through Easthaven*** *Bloody Hells, faction renown my arse. When those mages hit me, I saw everything flash through my vision. I saw so many people.... I saw Father. I was reaching out for him but he just smiles and shook his head. "Keep your promises,* anak. *You're not allowed to play darts with me yet." And he pointed to my left hand.* *Next time I knew, I was gasping for air and my entire body ached like fire, but hazily, I saw Leah and every around me. Genevieve was saying something about my injuries and X was lamenting Aries' simulacrum form, but all I could focus on was my beloved craddling me around the campfire the Harpers made. We did it. The Thayans were thwarted once more. Mother must be pleased and worried out of her mind somewhere.* *It's been a few hours since The Head Harper herself awarded us and bid us farewell. Before we left, I personally asked her to give me several days off. The look of surprise on her face before she started chuckling, wiping a worried tear. "Gods, it took you the jaws of death to ask for a vacation, child? Very well. I'll send the an update to the Wise Owl herself down south. No go on, be with your darling."* *An update to my mother? Hmm... Maybe I can introduce her. If she's done exploring.* *Leah used up her spellslots and her simulacrum was decimated, so we're travelling via one of the caravans preserved for us. As I write this, Leah's tired form is leaning onto me, clinging on for dear life as if she wasn't our saving grace back then.* *Neverwinder, I promised. And that's exactly where I'm taking her. I heard the violet winter blooms are in full. She'd love those. ~A.*

Instrument of the Bards (Anstruth Harp) | Very Rare | true | |||
Wondrous Item, Very Rare (Requires Attunement by a Bard) The graceful curves, intricate decoration, and peerless sound of this harp mark it as one of greatest musical instruments ever fashioned. Carvings in the harp’s golden wood depict the gods dancing to the music of Milil, god of song. An instrument of the bards is an exquisite example of its kind, superior to an ordinary instrument in every way. Seven types of these instruments exist, each named after a legendary bard college. A creature that attempts to play the instrument without being attuned to it must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or take 2d4 psychic damage. You can use an action to play the instrument and cast one of the following spells: control weather, cure wounds (5th level), fly, invisibility, levitate, protection from evil and good, or wall of thorns. Once the instrument has been used to cast a spell, it can’t be used to cast that spell again until the next dawn. The spells use your spellcasting ability and spell save DC. You can play the instrument while casting a spell that causes any of its targets to be charmed on a failed saving throw, thereby imposing disadvantage on the save. This effect applies only if the spell has a somatic or a material component. |
