SJ-DC-AUG-09 Tyrants and Dragons
Show
Notes:
Very rare (requires attunement)
Considered a sacred relic by the lizardfolk hunters of the gas giant planet Coliar, the Blade of Aaqa is initially freezing to the touch but the wielder’s hand quickly acclimates, and it feels as if the all-metal grip becomes one with flesh.
When you hit with an attack using this magic sword, the target takes an extra 1d6 cold damage. In addition, while you hold the sword, you have resistance to fire damage.
In freezing temperatures, the blade sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.
When you draw this weapon, you can extinguish all nonmagical flames within 30 feet of you. This property can be used no more than once per hour.
In addition, this weapon has the Delver minor property. While underground, the bearer of this item always knows the item's depth below the surface and the direction to the nearest staircase, ramp, or other path leading upward.
Rinoa's Wedding Ring ( Ring of Regeneration with Guardian Property )

SJ-DC-ROTU-06 Return of the Unknown
Show
Notes:
Ring, very rare (requires attunement)
While wearing this ring, you regain 1d6 hit points every 10 minutes, provided that you have at least 1 hit point. If you lose a body part, the ring causes the missing part to regrow and return to full functionality after 1d6 + 1 days if you have at least 1 hit point the whole time.
This silver wedding ring was worn by Rinoa and given to you. Should you ever be in danger, a warm and familiar voice whispers in your ears to be wary and, in addition, whenever you are injured, you feel a familiar presence by your side. The positive energy encloses you and slowly mends your wounds.

Absorbing Tattoo ( Acid, Harmonious )
very_rare
SJ-DC-AUG-10 Prisoner of Prioxa : Tales of the Beholder Corps
Show
Notes:
Wondrous item (tattoo), very rare (requires attunement)
Produced by a special needle, this magic tattoo features designs that emphasize one color (green).
Tattoo Attunement. To attune to this item, you hold the needle to your skin where you want the tattoo to appear, pressing the needle there throughout the attunement process. When the attunement is complete, the needle turns into the ink that becomes the tattoo, which appears on the skin.
If your attunement to the tattoo ends, the tattoo vanishes, and the needle reappears in your space.
Damage Resistance. While the tattoo is on your skin, you have resistance to acid damage.
Damage Absorption. When you take acid damage, you can use your reaction to gain immunity against that instance of the damage, and you regain a number of hit points equal to half the damage you would have taken. Once this reaction is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn.
This item has the Harmonious property: Attuning to this item takes only 1 minute.
Rod of Absorption
very_rare
CCC-TRI-02 Impression Left Behind
Show
Notes:
Rod, very rare (requires attunement)
While holding this rod, you can use your reaction to absorb a spell that is targeting only you and not with an area of effect. The absorbed spell's effect is canceled, and the spell's energy—not the spell itself—is stored in the rod. The energy has the same level as the spell when it was cast. The rod can absorb and store up to 50 levels of energy over the course of its existence. Once the rod absorbs 50 levels of energy, it can't absorb more. If you are targeted by a spell that the rod can't store, the rod has no effect on that spell.
When you become attuned to the rod, you know how many levels of energy the rod has absorbed over the course of its existence, and how many levels of spell energy it currently has stored.
If you are a spellcaster holding the rod, you can convert energy stored in it into spell slots to cast spells you have prepared or know. You can create spell slots only of a level equal to or lower than your own spell slots, up to a maximum of 5th level. You use the stored levels in place of your slots, but otherwise cast the spell as normal. For example, you can use 3 levels stored in the rod as a 3rd-level spell slot.
This rod has 4 levels of spell energy stored in it already. A rod that can no longer absorb spell energy and has no energy remaining becomes nonmagical.
This rod is carved from the thigh bone of a Matron Mother, a legendary feat for which you do not know the origin. While attuned to this item, spiders tend to be found on or near you at times, and when activated you can hear Lolth trying to speak to you in anger as the spell is absorbed into the bone.

Figurine of Wondrous Power Onyx Dog

Show
Notes:
A figurine of wondrous power is a statuette of a beast small enough to fit in a pocket. If you use an action to speak the command word and throw the figurine to a point on the ground within 60 feet of you, the figurine becomes a living creature. If the space where the creature would appear is occupied by other creatures or objects, or if there isn't enough space for the creature, the figurine doesn't become a creature.
The creature is friendly to you and your companions. It understands your languages and obeys your spoken commands. If you issue no commands, the creature defends itself but takes no other actions.
The creature exists for a duration specific to each figurine. At the end of the duration, the creature reverts to its figurine form. It reverts to a figurine early if it drops to 0 hit points or if you use an action to speak the command word again while touching it. When the creature becomes a figurine again, its property can't be used again until a certain amount of time has passed, as specified in the figurine's description.
This onyx statuette of a dog can become a mastiff for up to 6 hours. The mastiff has an Intelligence of 8 and can speak Common. It also has darkvision out to a range of 60 feet and can see invisible creatures and objects within that range. Once it has been used, it can't be used again until 7 days have passed.
