Downtime Activities!
If none of the death giants were taken from the crypt Dessa is thankful for the characters’s help and offer them the chance to enter the temple to perform the following activities at the conclusion of the adventure. If the characters took the treasure from the crypts Dessa is angry and they cannot utilize these downtime activities.

Hall of Mirth
Characters can spend time in the Hall of Mirth learning about giant kind and ancient Ostoria and the giant language. At the conclusion of this adventure a character may choose to learn the giant language for 50 downtime days. In addition at the conclusion of this adventure a character may choose to learn about Ostoria, by spending 50 downtime days the character will have advantage on any future rolls regarding giants or Ostoria.

Hall of Omens
Characters can spend time in the Hall of Omens learning about signs and portents. A wizard of the school of divination may spend 200 downtime days to gain 1 additional portent dice. Any other character may spend 50 downtime days to gain 3 Luck Points and may use them as the Lucky feat. Once the 3 Luck Points are spent they are not regained.

Hall of Honor
Characters can spend time in the hall of honor learning about the deeds of the ancient Ostorian Honor Guard. A character who spends 25 downtime days will gain advantage in dealings with true giants (Cloud, Hill, Fire, Stone, or Storm) when the subject of the Ostorian Honor Guard can be included in the conversation.

Story Award : Escape from the Demiplane of Dread :
You have been escorted out of Barovia by a family of Vistani. The trip is long and arduous, however. Once free, however, you must spend 80 downtime days traversing the width and breadth of Faerun in searach of the mysterious mists if you wish to return to Barovia. Once you have returned, you once more regain the The Demiplane of Dread story award and must find a new way out of Barovia.

Downtime Activities Earned :
Some Vistani know secrets to conceal their passage through the wilderness. If you spend 10 downtime days learning these secrets, you can apply them during future travel. For one day you choose in the future, each creature you choose within 30 feet of you (including you) can't be tracked except by magical means and leaves behind no tracks nor other traces of its passage. Remove this story award from your logsheet once it's been used.
The Vistani are quite good at reading people. If you spend 10 downtime days
learning from the Vistani, you may invoke it at any point in the future, granting advantage to all attack rolls made during your turn. Remove this story award from your logsheet once it's been used.

You have already discovered that he can control undead creatures with but a thought and that he has a significant understanding of the way that the Weave works. This may work for or against you in future encounters with Larloch and his agents.

Myth Drannor Explorer.
You have entered the ruins of Myth Drannor and survived to tell the tale. While this is still considered a holy place for elves across Faerûn, others may be keenly interested in hearing of your exploits. When you stay at a tavern in a large city (such as the Yawning Portal in Waterdeep), you may make a DC 18 Charisma (Persuasion) check; if successful your drinks and lodging are paid for by the other patrons. If unsuccessful, you are stuck with the bar tab for everyone that night. High-ranking elves may have a dim view of your unsanctioned activities in Myth Drannor. At your DM’s discretion, your Charisma-based skill checks are made with disadvantage when dealing with elf nobles and very strong spellcasters.
