Summary
Helped Goliath tribe in Icewind Dale with lots of aberrations. Experienced a variety of monsters that used psyhic powers to control allies. Also experienced that the strongest of the aberrations who were flying seemed unaffected by my spell Psyhic Blade.
In the heat of battle I was on the edge of dying and suddenly the white cloak from the previous adventure transformed me into a huge winter wolf. The magic felt different and strong, almost like a curse , but I decided to revert to my original form.
I learned to trust my magic and espicially "Protection from Evil and Good".

The Story so Far...
The Thuunlakalaga Clan
This adventure starts in Wyrmdoom Crag, a cave complex carved into the north face of a 15,000 ft. high mountain in the Spine of the World mountains, and the home to the friendly Thuunlakalaga goliath clan.

The Thuunlakalaga clan have been faced with much adversity with the most prevalent being the Everlasting Rime—a name bestowed upon the wrath of Auril the Frostmaiden, which has denied the sun’s warmth to all of Icewind Dale.

However the clan have also had problems with Feral-Tongue, a druid formerly of the Thuunlakalaga clan himself, who fell under the corrupting influence of a powerful magic staff made of chardalyn. He has used this staff to empower and awaken an army of beasts, and used them to spread death and destruction around Wyrmdoom Crag.

At the moment the clan is being led by the chieftain Ogolai "Old Goat" Orcsplitter Thunlakalaga. She is an elderly goliath whose first priority is the safety and prosperity of the clan, and have been relying on friendly adventurers to help the clan through their difficult time.

Kaskur Spearsong Thuunlakalaga is a strong and impetuous goliath who leads the clan's hunters, and the primary choice of the next in line to become chieftain. Kaskur has grown tired of Old Goat's personal fears, and her reliance on outsiders.

With the help from adventurers and Kaskur Spearsong, Feral-Tongue and his beasts were defeated. These adversities however has led to a greater divide in the clan between the current elderly chieftain Old Goat, and the young next-in-line Kaskur.

Xorvintroth, That Which Survives
Not long after the defeat of Feral-Tongue, the goliath of Wyrmdoom crag witnesses a Fallen Star, and when this is investigated by adventurers leads them to discover a long lost city frozen in the ice that has recently been awoken.

When the adventurers return back to Wyrmdoom Crag to report their finding, they discover that most of the Thuunlakalaga hunters, that they had travelled with and who left before them, never returned to Wyrmdoom Crag. Several others along with Kaskur left, after having grown tired of Old Goat's leadership, to find the missing hunters.

Adventurers tracked the hunters back to the newly discovered city Xorvintroth, an entirely alien city from another world that reeks of the corrupting influence of the Far Realm. Upon entering the city they find some of the missing hunters, which have all been killed by aberrations from the far realm that now inhabit the city. Some of the hunters are still missing, including Kaskur.

On her way she groups up with other adventurers travelling to Caer Konig, but on their way they find a caravan which recently has been slaughtered.
It appears some local tribes are fighting each other in addition to rumours of an evil druid's army lurking in the fronzen lands.
The group bumps into "Muzzil" and "Spritzel (talking odder)" who confirm the problems between the tribes and Isarr must be stopped.
