It also has many nonmagical beads made from stones such as amber, bloodstone, citrine, coral, jade, pearl, or quartz. If a magic bead is removed from the necklace, that bead loses its magic. Six types of magic beads exist. The DM decides the type of each bead on the necklace or de-termines it randomly by rolling on the table below. A necklace can have more than one bead of the same type. To use one, you must be wearing the necklace. Each bead contains a spell that you can cast from it as a Bonus Action (using your spell save DC if a save is necessary). Once a magic bead’s spell is cast, that bead can’t be used again until the next dawn. 1d20 Bead Spell 1-6 Bead of Blessing Bless 7-12 Bead of Curing Cure Wounds (2nd level version) 13-16 Bead of Favor Greater Restoration 17-18 Bead of Smiting Shining Smite 19 Bead of Summons Guardian of Faith 20 Bead of Wind Walking Wind Walk This necklace contains six Smiting beads and has the muttering quirk. Muttering. The item grumbles and mutters constant words of encouragement to smite evil-doers. Examples of such utterances might include. "Yes. They are evil. Please smite them. Smite them now." Chest of Preserving Wondrous item, common This common wondrous item has the following magical property: food and other perishable items do not age or decay while inside it. The chest is 2½ feet long, 1½ feet wide and 1 foot tall with a half barrel lid. It weighs 25 pounds. This chest has the Delver property. Delver. While underground, the bearer of this item always knows the item's depth below the surface and the direction to the nearest staircase, ramp, or other path leading upward. Potion of Fire Breath Potion, uncommon This potion’s orange liquid flickers, and smoke fills the top of the container and wafts out whenever it is opened. After drinking this potion, you can take a Bonus Action to exhale fire at a target within 30 feet of yourself. The target makes a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d6 Fire damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. The effect ends after you exhale the fire three times or when 1 hour has passed. Oil of Slipperiness Potion, Uncommon This sticky, black unguent is thick and heavy, but it flows quickly when poured. One vial of this oil can cover one Medium or smaller creature, along with the equipment it’s wearing and carrying (one additional vial is required for each size category above Medium). Applying the oil takes 10 minutes. The affected creature then gains the effect of the Free-dom of Movement spell for 8 hours. Alternatively, the oil can be poured on the ground as a Magic action, where it covers a 10-foot square, duplicating the effect of the Grease spell in that area for 8 hours. Spellwrought Tattoo (Dragon's Breath) Wondrous item (tattoo), uncommon Produced by a special needle, this magic tattoo contains a single spell of up to 5th level, wrought on your skin by a magic needle. To use the tattoo, you must hold the needle against your skin and speak the command word. The needle turns into ink that becomes the tattoo, which appears on the skin in whatever design you like. Once the tattoo is there, you can cast its spell, requiring no material components. The tattoo glows faintly while you cast the spell and for the spell's duration. Once the spell ends, the tattoo vanishes from your skin. The level of the spell in the tattoo determines the spell's saving throw DC, attack bonus, spellcasting ability modifier, and the tattoo's rarity, as shown in the Spellwrought Tattoo ta-ble. This tattoo contains the spell Dragon's Breath (DC13).
