Magic Items

Character Name Rarity Location Table Result Counts?
Pandg No 🆓 Robe of Useful Items Uncommon DDHC-CoS Curse of Strahd false
This robe has cloth patches of various shapes and colors covering it. While wearing the robe, you can use an action to detach one of the patches, causing it to become the object or creature it represents. Once the last patch is removed, the robe becomes an ordinary garment. The robe has each of the following patches: Bag of 100 gp Iron door Wooden ladder Riding horse Pit Rowboat Spell scroll (moonbeam)
Pandg No Tome of Understanding Very Rare DDHC-CoS Curse of Strahd true
This book contains intuition and insight exercises, and its words are charged with magic. If you spend 48 hours over a period of 6 days or fewer studying the book’s contents and practicing its guidelines, your Wisdom score increases by 2, as does your maximum for that score. The manual then loses its magic, but regains it in a century.
Pandg No Staff of Frost - A Very Rare DDHC-CoS Curse of Strahd true
You have resistance to cold damage while you hold this staff. The staff has 10 charges. While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it, using your spell save DC: cone of cold (5 charges), fog cloud (1 charge), ice storm (4 charges), or wall of ice (4 charges). The staff regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff turns to water and is destroyed. Imprinted on it this staff is a fragment of a dead wizard’s personality. The first character who touches the staff gains the following flaw: “I crave power above all else, and will do anything to obtain more of it.” This flaw trumps any conflicting personality trait.
Pandg No 🆓 Trinket - Ewer from the Ember Temple Unique DDHC-CoS Curse of Strahd false
Ewer from Amber Temple. Although it clearly possesses a potent power, this item counts as a trinket. (D&D Adventurers League Adaption Guide Page 65) Any poisonous liquid poured into the ewer is instantly transformed into an equal amount of sweet wine. Furthermore, a creature that grasps the ewer’s handle can command the ewer to fill with 1 gallon of wine, and it can’t produce more wine until the next dawn. Many unscrupulous Barovians and Vistani would kill to obtain this ewer. Others would gladly pay for it or accept it as a gift.
