Magic Items

This shield is fashioned of dull, black steel and festooned with hundreds upon hundreds of human teeth. Whenever the wielder of the shield is presented with an opportunity to act in a selfish or malevolent way, the item heightens the wielder’s urge to do so.

This cloak is made of the pelt of a smooth, blackfurred creature. A bone toggle fastens the cloak around its wearer's neck. Close examination of the gold-embroidered hem reveals a poem that reads (in Common): "Six men in pain; six men rent. Blood, it falls like rain; broken bodies bent. Six men plead; and six men cry; tearing arm and leg, six men die."

This fearsome carved jack-o-lantern fits over your head. It makes your eyes glow yellow while you wear it.

Pearls of white, blue, black, green, and even purple are strung on what seems to be a delicate string of seaweed and bound with a seashell clasp. Curiously, the necklace is always damp.

Formed from the severed tentacle of a powerful star spawn, this rod plagues its wielder with dreams of alien creatures that beckon them to travel deep within the Thunder Peaks, where something patiently awaits their arrival.

The red leather that covers this tome ist embossed with a smiling man with a third eye.

The striking surface of this hammer has been forged into the shape of a gauntleted fist. The haft is a rod of heavy, black adamantine wrapped in what appears to be spongy, green leather. Affixed to an iron ring on the pommel is a strip of tattered (though indestructible), blood-stained parchment insribed with a dwarven battle canticle. When used in battle the hammer reads the canticle aloud in a deep, resonating voice audible to anyone within 30 feet of the weapon.

This staff is carved from a single piece of an unusual, purple wood and topped with a clenched, mithral claw. The claw clutches a green dragon scale the size of a small plate engraved with the elven word for "Oblivion". The rune glows with a pale, green light and emits wisps of choking, caustic mist. Whoever is attuned the staff is able to speak, read, and write Draconic.

This armor is made of magically treated remorhaz hide and is trimmed with black fur and decorated with feathers and beads.
