The blade of this scimitar is solid black and etched with intricate spider webs.

When you attack a creature with this magic weapon and roll a 20 on the attack roll, that target takes an extra 3d6 necrotic damage if it isn't a construct or an undead. You also gain temporary hit points equal to the the extra damage dealt. In addition, the weapon has the delver minor property: While bearing it, you always know the item's depth below the surface and the direction to the nearest staircase, ramp, or other path leading upward.
