Coming back from the dead is an ordeal. Vel will take a -4 penalty to all attacks, saves, and ability checks. Every time he finishes a long rest, the penalty is reduced by 1 until it disappears. The manor that Volo is offering is quite valuable and is also a setting for the HC going forward. If you all decide to accept this reward it will be available to you throughout the HC campaign. If you leave the campaign this property will not be available to you due to AL rules. You also earn the favor of Volo and Renaer which does has it perks. Renaer is available for assistance if he can provide it and Volo is willing to take you all on a tour of waterdeep and provide assistance if he can.
